Specialty Training (Horseback Riding and Ice Hockey)

The Specialty activities include some non-typical activities that appeal to Danbee’s adventuresome girls. Specialties offered a few times a week give campers the chance to discover new passions.

Horseback Riding

The Horseback Riding Program is held on camp with stables, 3 riding rings and trails right at Danbee. Girls of all ages and abilities can sign-up for lessons 1 to 3 times a week. The program is tailored to the level of the rider – whether it’s her first time on a horse or she is trying to perfect her jumping ability.

Ice Hockey

Ice Hockey is one of Danbee’s more unique programs. Girls who are interested in playing ice hockey go to a local rink to learn the basics or practice previously learned skills, depending on their experience.

We also offer private lessons, small group sessions, and optional field trips that complement our many specialty programs. Private lessons/Specialty Training in Tennis, Gymnastics, Dance and Soccer are available for those campers interested in a more intensive teaching/coaching experience at camp.

There is no limit to what you can do during your Danbee summer!
