The first word that should come to mind when you think of Danbee is “Spirit”.  We are full of energy, we dance at every meal, and we have a whole lot of fun! Danbee is a very busy, active place.  We have just about every type of sport and specialty activity such as gymnastics, dance, theater, art, pottery, along with many other types of activities that you can think of. Whether a camper is a great athlete or a beginner or if they excel in fine arts or just likes to dabble Danbee meets their needs. We love special event days, evening activities and trips to the local areas around us. Everything that we do is BIG – lots of enthusiasm, cheering, spirit, and fun!!

The Camp Counselor Experience

Not only will you have fun at Danbee during the summer.  Being a camp counselor is truly a wonderful and unique experience.  You will experience personal growth, build close friendships, and will have a rewarding (and sometimes challenging!) experience working with children in a very close community.  You will take the experience of working at Danbee home with you and will use the skills you gain throughout your life.  Once you spend a summer at Danbee you can never get it out of you – just see what some of our staff members have to say about it!

I really wanted to say thank you for the opportunity this summer!!! I had such an amazing time and I had no idea before I came what kind of an impact Danbee would make on me… I also learned tons about myself and about so much stuff this summer...it really proved to me that I wanna definitely work with kids as a career. – Anna K.
